I have always enjoyed miniature worlds and the models that inhabit them. I started with Lego, soon after graduating to more complex model kits, which were never quite satisfying when completed. So I modified things and continued to explore new materials and methods. After graduating high school, I decided to study art at a local community college. While there I learned the basics of composition and grew my skills as a two dimensional artist, but I was still pulled toward the 3D and continued to tinker with hobby projects. I met a good friend and mentor through my hobby who I went on to work with. He had an online business making custom scenery for client's war games to be played on. I learned a lot from him about materials and the planning of larger projects. By this point I had transferred to UMass Amherst to finish my degree, in which I was focusing on sculpture. But just at the beginning of my studies at UMass, I applied and was offered a job making model scenery for photography and conventions at a miniature gaming company by the name of Privateer Press Inc. I decided the experience was to good to pass up and made the move from Massachusetts to Bellevue, Washington to work for them. I found a family of like minded people their and worked with them for 3 years. I then was hired by Steamforged Games to do similar work but on a more varied array of settings so I took that opportunity and have been working with them from a small studio. I have been given a large amount of creative freedom in my work and so I am able to design and concept most the work that I do for them.

I hope to continue to grow my skills as both a professional scenery maker, but also expand out to other model making skills in the future. This site will be where I document my growth and display the pieces I am most proud of.

Thank you for taking the time to view my work.

All of the scenery on this website is made in 28mm-32mm scale, which is closest to O scale or 1/48th scale in modeling terms.

I am not accepting commissions at the moment, but if you have any questions about my work please feel free to contact me through this website.
