This is another desert themed board I made. This one is made to demo the game God Tear which is a fantasy skirmish game that is played on a hex grid and takes place in a post apocalyptic fantasy world. I integrated the hexes into the scenery as best I could and made a small connecting diorama to set the scene. I sculpted and cast the dragon skull and cacti for this piece as well. The rocks are carved from pink insulation foam and the hex are cast in resin. The sword is made from foamed PVC board and plastic card. The statue head was made from carved foam and plastic card. I made this piece so that it could be broken down and shipped easily but also made it easy to move things around for photography.
This is a set of desert themed scenery made for photo, video, and games to be played on. Many large rock formations were carved from pink foam. the surface was developed with layers of gator board and sifted sand, The cacti were sculpted by me and cast in resin. more info on the buildings can be found in the building section. Painted using acrylic and latex paint.
