This is one of the biggest projects I have completed. This city block was made to be used in the world championship game of Warmachine and Hordes the tabletop game. It was designed with a side piece that was meant to set the scene and evoke the feel of fighting in a city, while keeping the play area clear of obstruction. This city was designed to be set in the fictional universe of the game. the layout and design were all done by me with inspiration from previous terrain pieces and artwork. The streets and courtyard were made with cast resin pieces that were tiled together. The buildings were made using foam core, textured plastic card, styrene plastic, found objects, resin cast pieces (some I made myself and some are made from Privateer Press product), among other things. The buildings are all magnetized for storage and to be reused as photo and video set pieces. I did have some help completing the painting of this piece from studio painter Geordie Hicks, and Matt DiPietro. Photos taken by Matt Ferbrache.
